Show starts at 7:30pm, doors open at 7pm.The show is free to the public, donations are gladlyaccepted and proceeds go the Mississippi Valley BluesSociety Education Committee.Katherine Davis has been performing blues music inthe Chicagoland area since the 70’s. Recognized asa Chicago treasure and ambassador for the soundsof the Chicago Blues Miss Davis has performedaround the world and yet she is most proud of herwork with students over past 20 plus years. As ateaching artist through her “Blues for Youth project”,formerly Blues in the Schools. Miss Davis’ studentshave been given the ability to learn about the Historyof the Blues, while discovering and refining theirtalents to make the most the opportunity to per atthe Chicago Blues festival for the past 25 years..Katherine’s intensity is not only felt by the audience,they are drawn to engage with her.
