Quad Cities Karaoke Championship: Junior EditionPresented by Common ChordJoin us to share your talents on the Common Chord Stage at the Freight House Farmers Market on June 8th!Common Chord is joining forces with the Quad Cities Karaoke Championship to create a new part of this year’s competition, specifically for singers under 21 years old.PRIZES:1st place: $2002nd place: $1003rd place: $50RULES:Age Limit: Participants must be under 21 years old as of the date of the contest, June 8, 2024Solo Performances: Each participant must be able to perform solo on stage.Judging Criteria:-Vocal Quality: Judges will evaluate participants based on pitch, tone, clarity, and overall vocal skill.-Stage Presence: Participants will be judged on their confidence, charisma, and engagement with the audience.Registration and Schedule:-Registration begins at 10:00am on June 8th and must be completed by 12:00pm.-Contest will take place 11:00am-1:00pm.-Please note: The contest time is limited. Registration will end when all open slots are filled.Song Selection:-Each participant must choose a song under 5 minutes long.-Songs with explicit or inappropriate content are not allowed.Accompaniment:-Participants must sing with a karaoke track provided by the karaoke DJ.
