Burning Red: Tribute to Taylor is the Midwest’s premier Taylor Swift tribute act, by Swifties and for Swifties. Every Burning Red show is a journey through all of Taylor’s “Eras” from her pop hits, to folk, to country, to dance and back again!
Burning Red is fronted by Gina CC (formely of Veruca Salt & Rockit Girl) on vocals, guitar, and piano who considers herself a “certified Swiftie.” Along with John CC (American Cosmonaut), the pair launched Burning Red as an acoustic duo, playing to small but enthusiastic Swiftie crowds across Chicagoland. The duo soon recruited Bob L. (According to Sarah) on lead guitar, Dave T. (Ditchweed Diesel) on bass, Tommy T (The Inventors) on drums, and Lisa G (Lisa G and The Good Reasons) on stellar backing vocals and harmonica to round out the Taylor-loving talent. With the complete 6-piece band in place, Burning Red sold out their debut Chicago event at Theater on the Lake to throngs of thrilled Swifties.
