Summer is just around the corner which means warmer temps, patio hangs and free outdoor live music! Luckily we live in the Quad Cities where there is no shortage of any of those things.

The River Music Experience Live @ Five Season is back! 

Every summer, the River Music Experience Courtyard showcases live music by some of the Quad City Area’s best local bands! Join the fun every Friday at 5:00pm, June through September. This is a family-friendly atmosphere and lawn chairs are encouraged. Check out the full lineup below or at the RME website.

Bass Street Landing Summer Concert Series

What are you doing, like, every Thursday night from 7-9pm this summer? You better be rocking out to their stacked lineup this year! Drinks and vendors will be on site. Learn more on their Facebook page.

Starlight Revue Concert Series at the Lincoln Park Band Shell

The Rock Island Parks & Recreation 66th Annual Starlight Revue Concert Series will be held at the Lincoln Park Band Shell on Tuesday nights this summer. Starting at 5pm there will be a grill set up by Hy-Vee Rock Island and a pie stand provided by Health Alliance. The music starts at 7pm and goes until 9. Grab the full lineup here.

Music at the Market

Live music and the Freight House Farmer’s Market go hand in hand. River Music Experience has teamed up with the Davenport market to bring live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Learn more and get an updated lineup here.

Sunday Funday at Mississippi River Distilling Co.

Head out to the Mississippi River Distilling Co. in LeClaire for Sunday afternoon fun on their patio. Live music, beautiful river views and amazing cocktails? Sign me up! Get the lineup here.

Mercado on Fifth 

Mercado on Fifth is not just a market. The weekly events bring Quad Citizens together to celebrate culture and community in an inclusive way. Educational programming at Mercado provides enrichment hours for children, and free nonprofit booth space gets helpful information to adults. Every Friday brings an eclectic mix of live music and entertainment that can’t be missed!

Rock the Wood

 

The Tangled Wood is one of the best places to enjoy a meal and a concert at the same time. The gastropub located in Bettendorf (3636 Tanglewood Road) has its Rock the Wood series all summer long. You’ve got to check it out!

Bettendorf Public Library Summer Concert Series

Thursday nights this summer from 6:30 – 8pm at the Bettendorf Public Library you can enjoy free live music outside. You are encouraged to bring food, drink and a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather the concert will be held inside the library. See the lineup here.

Moline Township Summer Concerts

The Moline Township Summer Concerts take place in Stephens Square Park outside the East end of the Moline Township Activity Center.  The bands play from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. You can get something to eat in the M.A.C. dining room from 5:00 pm until the food is gone. Once the music begins, there is popcorn, soda, and bottled water outside in the park. Bettendorf Park Band

Bettendorf Park Band plays Fridays at 7:30 pm all summer long along with an ice cream social. Concerts and ice cream take place at Veterans Memorial Park, 1645 23rd St. in Bettendorf. In case of inclement weather, concerts are moved to the Goettsch Community Center, 2204 Grant St. in Bettendorf.

Riverpalooza

Enjoy free live local music with food and drink at Davenport’s newest riverfront venue, Quinlan Court, at River Drive & Brady Street in downtown Davenport. Food trucks and beverages will be available for purchase starting Thursday nights at 6pm, with concerts beginning at 7pm. Bring your lawn chairs!

Music in the Park

East Moline Main Street offers Music in the Park Sunday nights from 5-8 pm at Runner’s Park, 742 15th Ave. Food and beverage is available for sale on-site. See the line up here. 

Music on the Levee

Check out free Music on the Levee Sunday nights at 7 pm at LeClaire Park in downtown Davenport. Concerts are held all summer long, but there will be no concert on June 19, July 24 or 31. Concessions will be available. Check out the lineup here.
