JD Aguilera is a Pour Bros. favorite and we are excited to welcome him back! JD Aguilera is a singer/songwriter from the midwest. Inspired by a little bit of everything musically, but mostly country leaning in his musical style. JD has been playing guitar since the late 90’s and he’s been hooked on singing for crowds since his first late night parties in high school. After high school he Joined the Army and took his guitar with him everywhere he was sent by uncle sam. He quickly realized that he was able to connect to folks and make friends though his love of music. Drawing inspiration from his humble upbringing as the child of an immigrant parent, his and his family’s blue-collar background, he writes and sings about what he knows. With musical inspirations like Randy Travis and Keith Whitley, he likes to sing those old heartbreaking country ballads that country music is often teased for. That doesn’t stop him though, as there seems to be an awakening in the country music genre. There’s a yearning for the music that his generation grew up hearing with their parents and grandparents. Road trips and family time spent tuned into old radio stations blaring George Jones and Merle Haggard, Hank Cochran and Patsy Cline. This is the style that he aspires to emulate. See less
