The Manny Lopez Big Band was organized in the fall of 1993

and is comprised of 14 of the finest musicians in the Quad City area.

The Manny Lopez Big Band has provided top-quality music and entertainment for many functions and organizations over the years, as well as backing such artists as the late, great drummer Louie Bellson, trumpeter Clark Terry, Buddy DeFranco, Bill Allred, John Allred, and a host of others. The band performs selections from the libraries of The Count Basie Orchestra, Stan Kenton, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, Henry Mancini, and others from the Big Band Era.
