…..Can I get a drumroll please?…. Sorry for the delayed start, but we had a few details to hash out regarding changes to this year’s season. Don’t worry, we aren’t going to switch up a decades-old tradition of the Beach Drum Circle. For all the work that has went into the Sunset Marina Beach Drum Circle (and all the work it would take to make a new page , it would be blasphemous for any place other than Sunset to be the centralized location for our summer events. Why try to fix a drumhead that isn’t broken? We say “more cowbell!”! The isolation as a result of COVID left us in need for social interaction and longing for the experiences of familiar friendships. We’ve noticed a bit of an inconsistency in our numbers and have since asked for some feedback. But for the inaugural event, we are going to keep it classic and do it right. From there, we will be alternating locations to other venues in the quad cities. This will allow us to reach out to a larger audience, and hopefully bring in some new friends.
