Colt Ford
Colt Ford repeatedly blazes his own trail. The Georgia singer, songwriter, rapper, musician, performer, and co-founder and co-owner of Average Joes Ent. keeps up pace as country’s preeminent independent maverick.
By 2019, Colt had built successes as he rose to mainstream notoriety. He notched 5 consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart with Declaration of Independence bowing at #1 in 2012. 2 years later, Thanks for Listening ascended to the Top 10 of the Top 200, with the album reaching #1 on Billboard Rap & Independent charts. Meanwhile, he lobbed 6 songs onto the Hot Country Songs Chart with “Back” [feat. Jake Owen] going Top 40. Among many accolades, Ford received a nomination in the category of “Vocal Event of the Year” at the ACM Awards for “Cold Beer” with Jamey Johnson.
Accumulating over 3 million albums sales, and 1 billion-plus streams, the country rap pioneer’s dynamic discography spans collaborations with everyone from Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Jermaine Dupri to members of No Doubt and Vince Gill. Additionally, he co-wrote Jason Aldean’s #1 hit “Dirt Road Anthem” and Brantley Gilbert’s #1 hit “Country Must Be Country Wide” as a behind-the-scenes force in the studio. Moreover, Ford’s solo tradition of genre-blurring continued on Love Hope Faith in 2017 with cuts such as “Reload” [feat. Taylor Ray Holbrook], his We The People, Volume 1 album and on into his Keys to the Country EP in 2021 with Kevin Gates, RVSHVD and more.
Josh Mirenda
Nashville native, Josh Mirenda, is a country music singer/songwriter, with multi-platinum selling status and an ASCAP Song of the Year Award for “Somewhere On The Beach”, recorded by Dierks Bentley. Josh has several hits recorded by Jason Aldean including his title album “They Don’t Know”. From songwriter to singer, Josh’s debut single, “I Got You”, has nearly 20 million streams on Spotify and landed him on Spotify’s Hot Country List. Following the release of his self titled EP, Josh Mirenda, Josh has been on the road, playing shows with artists such as Easton Corbin, Chris Young, Rodney Atkins and Dylan Scott.
Mirenda released “Til The Neon’s Gone” January 2022 penned by himself and mega hitmakers, Jon Nite and Ashley Gorley. “Neon is probably one of, if not my favorite song I have written,” commented Mirenda. “It’s just a different way of telling the one you love that you ain’t going anywhere and you are in it forever.” The track has paved the way to kick start Josh’s artist career while scheduling more singles to be released through the year.
“Mile A Minute,” Mirenda’s summer release, co-written with country hit-makers Ashley Gorley, Rhett Akins and Will Weatherly, deep dives into the heat of the moment with a “heart going wild” during an electric connection between two parties. “I wrote this one a couple years ago. I think it was the 2nd or 3rd song we wrote that day but I knew I loved it before we even finished it. Brings a little feeling of a young love to any relationship,” says Mirenda.
Josh’s latest single, “Wind Up,” conveys a sense of urgency and risk-taking, emphasizing the importance of living in the moment and seizing the opportunities that come our way. “I started playing ‘Wind Up’ as my show opener about a year ago and it seemed to go over well,” shares Mirenda. “I kept having a lot of people ask where they could stream the song, so I figured it was time to officially put it out there!” With its upbeat tempo and powerful lyrics, “Wind Up” is a song that encourages listeners to let go of their inhibitions and embrace the thrill of the unknown.
