Inspired by the likes of Peter Frampton, he dreamt of a career as a guitarist. Self-taught since age 12, he briefly set aside his musical aspirations for a conventional life. The 2008 economic downturn changed everything. Job loss became the opportunity for Jason to pursue music full-time. The passing of his father in 2011 fueled his commitment to live his dream. Armed with minimal equipment, Jason passionately played, turning dreams into reality. Now, the Jason Wells Band, starting from scratch, boasts five CDs, radio airplay, and notable performances at venues like Buddy Guy’s Legends. Opening for Candlebox and sharing stages with icons like Jackyl, they’ve become a fixture in the Midwest scene.
